There is a Solution

"Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery depends on AA unity." (Tradition One) The Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous p562

This was a really fantastic weekend and refresher walkthrough of the Steps for me. Everyone was really welcoming and relaxed and I made a lot of new friends. It was great to go through the book together and realise we are all recovering the same way.

I was fairly new to AA when I went on the retreat last year, so it was a little daunting. But I was open to learning more about the 12 steps and make new connections. This weekend really helped me grasp what was in front of me and I felt safe in knowing that I can do this! All the women were so supportive, the food was amazing, and the sleeping quarters were great. I'm definitely coming next year.

I'd love to recommend the GC retreat and share the lessons, friendships and fun with everyone focused on, or even curious about the AA Big Book recovery way. Great guest speakers travelled from far & wide to be of service. It was beautiful to witness some new sober members meet their sponsors for the first time. TRULY INSPIRING!
